Fellow Puddle Jumper Killed by Pirates

Bob Riggle, Brian Calvert on MV Furthur, Roz and Russ on SV Worrall Wind sporting our PJ10 Shirts
Sadly, we learned today that Bob Riggle, fellow Pacific Puddle Jumper 2010, was one of the Americans killed by the Somali Pirates.  Such an awful tragedy.  Makes us sad and mad.  Sailors need to travel through this area safely.

Good evening Captain Russ and Admiral Roz!!!
This is Dimitris from Greece. I used to have a Nauticat 33 a few years ago and had some nice time with it! But, ocean cruising like yours was in my dreams as something I could never do. It's really difficult for me. Well, I saw your log book and, God, that's a reeeal round the globe travel!!! I was also amazed by the beautiful photo you have on your title, it's really fantastic as with the other pics you have in the blog. You must be really very happy in your life and I wish you all the best for your cruising in this beautiful yacht. Btw I am also sorry for your friend killed by pirates, how can we find a solution with this problem really...
[Admiral, may I save this terrific pic (and maybe some others of the yacht or some landscapes I saw) in my disk for future use? Of course I shall not forget to mention the copyright. It's OK to say no, they are your pics.]
Captain, you know you are one of the few lucky people in the world, well, I mean in the whole globe, who are in the position to make their dreams come true, so pls be careful with the sea and "have nice winds" as we wish here in Greece! When you visit Greece 2015-2017, you will see what reeeal wind means, especially in the Aegean. You'll have beautiful sailing hours here with us!
I was really happy to have found, you brought me some years ago (...) and I'll try to follow you with your journey. But first of all I have to read all of your blog!
I have a blog too, but it's in Greek language (http://atasthalos.blogspot.com) and has nothing to do with sailing...
So, that's all for now, wish you happy hours in your Worall Wind and may God be with you!
    Cheers,
    Dimitris
