With much love and sadness, we have listed and sold our boat with Yacht Domain in Australia, as of February 28, 2013. It is time for us to continue on with our around the world adventure, chartering boats as needed, traveling by train, plane, canal boat, camel...who knows.
When we first purchased our boat in 2001, we had four requirements when we were looking for a cruising yacht that would carry us across the seas and be our home. 1) We wanted both indoor and outside steering...no cold wet nights for us; 2) We wanted a walk around bed..no crawling over one another in the middle of the night, 3) We wanted a separate shower apart from the head, and 4) We wanted a boat that would be seaworthy and easy enough for two of us to sail.
Our Nauticat has always exceeded our expectations. Even though she is nearly 30 years old, she's a seaworthy and comfortable cruiser, and is loaded with cruising gear and redundant spare parts. She is ready to sail to Indonesia, South Africa, or back to the South Pacific and is in excellent, maintained condition.
Hello, I am purchasing a Nauticat 44 currently showing pending on Yacht World at $149,000. Would love to pick your brain if you wouldn't mind. Thanks in advance.
