Sixteen percent of our voyage was motorsailing either because there was no wind and/or counter currents, we needed to average at least 7 knots an hour to beat to harbor before a storm, we needed some extra power to come about in steep seas and headwinds, or just to generate some extra electricity. We would do the same all over again...great choice. New owner was able to figure out an engineering solution for chronic salt water intake in heavy seas that required dewatering the engine while sailing. Take enough oil fo several oil changes while on the fly. If you are retrofitting, save the technology, sails, and standing rigging for take off. It will give you great confidence knowing these are in sterling condition. We had lots of spare parts with us and were happy to have them. Our favorite piece of equipment was our hydrovane. Cheers and happy sailing.WorrallTravelRshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00616764251774524642noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15695118.post-42893060971937121382016-12-16T17:44:08.165-08:002016-12-16T17:44:08.165-08:00Hello, I know you have sold your Nauticat, but we ...Hello, I know you have sold your Nauticat, but we are looking at buying one, and I was wondering if you could tell me if you were able to sail the majority of the time, or if it truly was more of a "motor sailor." The Croats hide what their people did. Croatia's president was a fascist and was friendly with exiled Croat-Nazi's of WWII. He visited them in Argentina and invited them back to Croatia.
Also, Tudjman sabotaged peace agreements early in the war and had a Croat policeman who was working on a peace deal assassinated.

The west did engineer those wars and was covertly backing non-Serb separatists to break up Yugoslavia into little ethnically pure or divided statelets to be easier to rule and be absorbed by the EU.
There is plenty of autopsy, picture and film evidence of crimes against Serbs that the west blocked and continues to block.

The Bosnian Muslims were decapitating Serbs and also roasting them alive. There are pictures of this with the victims fully named.

TODAY Bosnian Muslims and Albanian Muslims have joined ISIS by the hundreds (over 700 at least) where they commit atrocities on Syrians - including decapitations. One of the leaders bragging about the decapitations was a Kosovo Albanian. When his people back home complained, he said it was nothing the KLA hadn't done during the (Kosovo) war to Serbs.

And the bombing of Serbia was done so NATO could steal Kosovo and give it to the Muslims - also to have the huge Bondsteel military base there.

Before Yugoslavia was broken up it was a strong competitor in the construction and military industries for Germany and many other countries. With Yugoslavia destroyed (along old fault lines Germany had preyed on before) their industry profited.

The Serbs are the MOST ethnically cleansed and MOST PERMANENTLY of the Balkans.

There are HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of Croatian Serbs who were cleansed and some are still living in refugee camps in Serbia to this day.

An American woman who worked with hundreds of immigrants/refugees from the Balkans and Africa said it was the Serbs who had signs of torture and severe beatings from the Bosnian Muslims - they were needing surgery for the horrible sodomy and abuse.
Didn't mention a scratch on the Muslims and Croats - but they have their "stories" which are often exaggerations or lies.
And the majority killed in Bosnia were actually MILITARY. The Bosnian Muslims had the largest army within Bosnia-Hercegovina which was well supplied (despite what the media presented) with Iranian, Yemeni and many other sources of weapons. Much of it came under cover of "humanitarian aid" - and some was linked to a group financed by Osama bin Laden.

Several of the 911 plotters and others who committed terrorist acts in Europe and other places were said to have trained in Bosnia.

There's a HUGE cover-up of what Croats and Muslims did. Plus they even had their own war against each other in the middle of the Bosnian war. Their fighting left Mostar the most destroyed town in all of Bosnia-Hercegovina. And most of the landmine deaths and accidents since the war happen near the front lines of where the Muslim-Croat battles were in central Bosnia. You had a smaller Croatian population in the middle surrounded by a much larger population of Muslims and mines are used as a defensive weapon to keep areas from being overrun.
